Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our global customers. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure seamless logistics services and identify opportunities for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Penetrate organizational structures to develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Understand customers' business strategies and identify opportunities for growth
- Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on service issues
- Communicate service issues to department managers and supervisors
- Identify opportunities to grow business from existing accounts
- Manage client profiles and updates on our CRM system
- Build territory maps to track account locations
- Provide technical updates to customers on our EI systems
- Share weekly schedules with departments to coordinate joint account visits
- Turn major business opportunities over to sales and operational issues
- Manage business reviews and continually seek improvement in procedures and services
Requirements
- University or equivalent business qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics or a related field
- Proven work experience in business development
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and customers
- Strong presentation and analytical skills
- Proven project management and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in French and English
