Position Overview
The role focuses on the strategic procurement of Maintenance & Repair Services within the Dunkerque region. This position is essential for ensuring transparency in subcategory spending and driving cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in strategic procurement initiatives for Maintenance & Repair Services.
- Analyze and manage subcategory expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and logistics teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis alongside Lead Buyers.
Core Duties
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for various sites.
- Maintain and enhance supplier profiles while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Achieve savings targets and key performance indicators through detailed analyses.
- Perform spend data analysis and financial assessments.
- Report on performance metrics and contribute to category strategy development.
- Foster effective procurement practices through collaboration with internal teams.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and working groups.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, with a proven track record in procurement. A background in financial analysis is advantageous.
As a proactive buyer, you will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen aptitude for working with numerical data. You will have a solid understanding of contract management, project oversight, and negotiation tactics, combined with excellent communication skills and a leadership mindset.
Fluency in English and French is required, with additional European languages considered a plus.
