Flight Safety Incident Investigation Engineer in Electrical Systems

As a key member of the Airbus Helicopters team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued airworthiness of our helicopters in active flight service. Our Continued Airworthiness department coordinates activities for military and civil helicopters, and as a Continued Airworthiness Engineer, you will be involved in analyzing occurrences related to failures, malfunctions, and defects to guarantee safe operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough pre-analysis and assessment of incidents affecting airworthiness
- Participate in Incident Screening Committee meetings to discuss and prioritize investigations
- Coordinate root cause analysis to identify and address potential safety risks
- Organize and lead Major Incident Technical Board meetings to facilitate collaboration and decision-making
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with Airworthiness Authorities to ensure compliance and regulatory adherence
- Compile and present comprehensive documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as a focal point for airworthiness matters, providing expert guidance and support to colleagues and customers
Your Ideal Profile:
- Hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Bring 5+ years of experience in avionic/electrical systems, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Possess excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and helicopter platforms
- Be proficient in French and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences
