Role Overview
The Senior Compliance Officer for Joint Ventures and MTS is responsible for establishing, implementing, and advocating for uniform compliance standards and frameworks across our global entities, in alignment with Worldline's compliance policies.
This position involves evaluating and overseeing the compliance risk landscape and control mechanisms in diverse regions to proactively identify and address potential risks.
The role entails providing the MTS management and Group Compliance with insights into the overall compliance risk profile and tracking the resolution of significant compliance issues.
Additionally, the Senior Compliance Officer will deliver compliance reports and analyses to the Group Compliance team, ensuring they are informed of key risks and challenges while fulfilling their legal obligations.
This position collaborates closely with local compliance officers worldwide, ensuring that robust compliance processes are established across all business lines to meet global standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
Execute specific Group Compliance initiatives. Ensure timely delivery of information and reports to the Group Compliance team. Cultivate relationships with local regulators and stakeholders. Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of compliance controls. Identify and mitigate high-risk scenarios. Collaborate with legal and HR departments. Assess potential compliance risks associated with future business activities. Escalate issues as necessary. Inform management and Group Compliance of significant risks. Oversee the implementation of remediation actions from internal audits related to compliance.Data Protection Duties
In partnership with local Data Protection Officers (DPO):
Lead and guide the DPO team throughout the organization. Coordinate with the Group DPO and other privacy stakeholders. Serve as the primary contact for privacy-related inquiries and requests. Support the Group DPO in fostering a culture of data protection and compliance. Provide guidance on GDPR requirements to relevant stakeholders. Conduct training sessions on data protection across all levels of the organization.Ethics and Anti-Bribery Responsibilities
In collaboration with local ethics officers:
Implement the Code of Ethics and whistleblowing procedures. Conduct corruption risk assessments. Investigate risks associated with third parties. Advise stakeholders on ethics and anti-bribery matters. Manage breaches in ethics or anti-bribery protocols in conjunction with the Group Compliance team.Financial Crime Compliance
Working with the financial crime team:
Act as the custodian of the global Financial Crime control framework. Advise management on Financial Crime Compliance and sanctions-related risks. Ensure that sanctions policies are current and effectively implemented. Provide insights on KPIs and KRIs to enhance the Financial control framework. Ensure compliance with testing standards set by Worldline. Support the design of processes to meet legal and regulatory requirements.Regulatory Compliance
Monitor the regulatory landscape affecting Payment & Financial Market Infrastructures. Oversee reporting activities to regulators as necessary. Manage outsourcing activities and report effectively.Candidate Profile

In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment in Payment & Financial Market Infrastructures. Expertise in Financial Crime Compliance, particularly in sanctions laws. Familiarity with ethics, anti-bribery, and data protection laws. Understanding of Information Security and Data Governance best practices. Experience in managing compliance controls in systems handling personal data. Project management experience. Knowledge of internal control and audit methodologies. Relevant professional qualifications. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Compliance, Law, or Risk Management. A proven track record of success in similar roles. Proficiency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Italian is advantageous.Benefits
