The Opportunity
Worldline is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer to join our team. As a DPO, you will be responsible for monitoring data protection and privacy compliance across our organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Senior DPO, you will oversee the implementation of a new transfer and privacy framework across the organization, establish privacy dashboards, and track privacy KPIs. You will also monitor regulatory developments and participate in awareness initiatives, as well as facilitate the DPO community and ensure proper administration of the privacy function.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Data Protection Officer in monitoring major cross-functional privacy projects at both national and multinational level.
- Oversee the implementation of a new transfer and privacy framework across the organization with associated privacy controls.
- Establish privacy dashboards, track privacy KPIs, and compile the annual DPO report.
- Monitor regulatory developments and participate in awareness initiatives.
- Monitor ongoing privacy audit points and be involved in internal and external privacy audits.
- Help facilitate the DPO community and ensure proper administration of the privacy function.
- Ensure implementation of group data protection policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of the records in our tool, reporting, and responding to requests from data subjects.
- Provide guidance and assistance in handling data breaches, ensuring swift and effective response in accordance with legal requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to the organization on data protection and privacy matters.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
- Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management. 7+ years of relevant working experience in privacy.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects related to data protection and privacy compliance.
- Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Working experience for multinational organizations.
- Excellent command of English.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and advocacy skills
