About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Platform team at Amadeus. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our cloud-based platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Develop and implement agile methodologies to improve team efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure high technical standards in the design, implementation, and operation of solutions
  • Coordinate efforts to diagnose and recover major incidents or escalations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages (C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading technically a project, cross-functional team or group, being accountable for planning, executing, and supervising the execution, direct reports development, performance discussions and disciplinary management in a large international environment
  • Deep knowledge on lean mindset and practices applied to software engineering
  • Solid experience in a similar job or relevant long-term experience in a project management role
  • Knowledge of network engineering in the cloud and/or hybrid environments is advantageous
  • Excellent English language skills
