Our client, a prominent national law firm with esteemed practices in Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Technology, is seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance their Venture Capital and Mergers & Acquisitions divisions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to advance their career in legal sales.
Job Title: Senior Manager of Business Development
Location: Boston, MA (3x per week in office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee high-stakes RFPs and presentations while managing all sales initiatives
- Collaborate with top revenue-generating attorneys to identify client development opportunities
- Facilitate integration processes for newly recruited lateral attorneys within corporate practices
- Work alongside various departments to cater to specific client requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a law firm or professional services setting
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on market trends, data analysis, and client financials
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience, targeting a range of $190,000–$210,000 (Bonus eligible)
