ABOUT STERIMED INFECTION CONTROL
With a workforce of over 1,000 employees and a presence in 12 manufacturing facilities across three continents, STERIMED is recognized as the premier producer of renewable resource-based materials and packaging systems for the sterilization of medical devices. This sector is witnessing significant growth, necessitating an unwavering commitment to quality and safety. STERIMED specializes in the development, production, transformation, and marketing of diverse solutions, including bacterial barrier substrates and preformed sterilization packaging tailored for healthcare institutions and medical device producers.
INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES:
As a CSR intern, you will collaborate closely with the CSR Manager to facilitate the execution of STERIMED's sustainable practices. Your responsibilities will encompass aiding in the formulation, implementation, and assessment of our CSR strategy. You will serve as a vital link, working in both French and English with various departments across STERIMED's global operations (23 sites worldwide, including 13 manufacturing plants): Europe, America, and Asia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data pertinent to the company's environmental performance.
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual CSR report.
• Aid in calculating the organization's carbon footprint and forming working groups focused on CSR topics (water management, waste reduction, circular economy, CO2 emissions mitigation, etc.).
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and best practices within the CSR domain (new legal requirements, industry benchmarks, targeted thematic reports, etc.), and provide recommendations for policy and procedural adjustments.
• Execute awareness and communication initiatives to promote internal understanding of CSR challenges and projects (both in France and internationally).
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Development or a related field with a focus on CSR/Environment.
• A strong passion for sustainability and corporate social responsibility matters.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.
• Competent in using computer applications (Office Suite, Canva).
• Possess strong writing, analytical, and synthesis capabilities.
• Demonstrate initiative and effective interpersonal skills.
