Capital Management Specialist

HSBC is seeking a highly skilled Capital Management Specialist to join our Treasury and Asset Liability Management (ALM) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing the bank's balance sheet, ensuring liquidity, capital adequacy, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of capital management strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Manage and analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective capital allocation and risk management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, senior management, and business partners.
- Provide expert advice on capital management, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development of business cases, proposals, and presentations to support capital management initiatives.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
