We are seeking a skilled Thermal Insulation Specialist to join our team at the Fawley site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out thermal insulation duties in accordance with industry standards, Altrad and client specifications, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- To understand and adhere to Altrad's Health and Safety policy, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Effective communication and participation in pre-job briefings to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, utilizing your thermal insulation knowledge and skills to achieve project goals.
- To select and apply the correct insulation materials and finishes relevant to various applications and operational environments.
- Maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Identification and escalation of significant health and safety risks, reporting defects to the Supervisor and safety teams.
- Removal and re-application of insulation materials and finishes in accordance with industry standards and Altrad/client procedures.
- Professionalism and adherence to instruction from the Supervisor.
- Maintenance of good housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept tidy.
- Reporting of accidents, incidents, and near misses to the Site Supervisor or Site Manager immediately.
Requirements:
- Thermal Insulation NVQ level 2 or 3, City & Guilds craft studies.
- Thermal Insulation CSCS Gold Card holder (desirable).
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
