Job Summary
Altrad is seeking a skilled Thermal Insulation Specialist to join our team at the Fawley site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out thermal insulation duties in a manner that complies with industry standards and client specifications.
Main Responsibilities
- To understand and adhere to Altrad's Health and Safety policy and ensure its implementation by all employees.
- Effective communication and participation in pre-job briefings.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- The ability to select the correct insulation materials and finishes relevant to various applications and changing operational environments.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment and ensuring their correct maintenance.
- Identify and escalate significant health and safety risks and report defects to the Supervisor and safety teams.
- The ability to remove and reapply insulation materials and finishes in compliance with industry standards and client procedures.
- Monitor and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept tidy.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses to the Site Supervisor or Site Manager immediately.
Requirements
- Thermal Insulation NVQ level 2 or 3, City & Guilds craft studies.
- Thermal Insulation CSCS Gold Card holder (desirable).
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
