Job Summary
Bikeurope B.V. (France) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, managing a team of sales staff, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Sales
- Actively work the sales floor to interact with customers and employees to achieve store sales goals.
- Lead all staff in delivering world-class customer service to meet and exceed financial goals.
Staff Management and Development
- Organize, implement, and validate staff training programs to enhance sales, merchandising, and operational skills.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
Store Operations and Merchandising
- Participate in the merchandising of the store to ensure a professional, accessible, and inviting shopping experience.
- Monitor store supplies and ordering/purchasing as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Human Resources and Administration
- Actively participate in all facets of human resources and staffing within the store, including interviewing, hiring, and training new staff.
- Manage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and performance issues in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
