As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and operations excellence across the plant. Your key focus areas will include:
- Financial Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations teams to understand business drivers, share insights, and challenge them to improve performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze business drivers, facts, and figures to understand true performance, and drive discussions with plant managers on deviations to the plan and recovery actions.
- Financial Decision Support: Provide financial decision support to plant management, including operations decision support, innovation, CAPEX decision support, cost control, and more.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial and operational planning, forecasting, and analysis/commentary on a monthly basis.
- Internal and External Audits: Ensure full support for internal and external audits, and implement action plans as needed.
- Process Improvement: Drive best-in-class processes across the plant to generate standardization and efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead business case costing for new product development, CAPEX, and savings.
- Manage working capital and analyze P&L, including costs, absorption, material variances, and ROI variances to identify business performance drivers and improvement opportunities.
- Challenge CAPEX operations projects to maximize ROI and prioritize resource allocation.
- Apply inventory and write-off policies.
- Responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Tools and Technologies:
- Manage month-end performance reporting using SAP and TM1 tools.
- Owner and leader of site budgeting and forecasting process.
- Identify business risks and opportunities with financial impacts.
Product Costing:
- Prepare, validate, and communicate annual standard costs.
- Support projects and capital expenditures.
CAPEX Controlling:
- Appraise new projects, including savings and payback calculations.
- Support delivery of projects within agreed budgets, including CAPEX and savings.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Group Financial Reporting rules.
- Responsible for SOX procedures for sites.
