Strategy Lead for Virtual Testing and Simulation

Imagine using your expertise to drive the digital transformation of the vehicle testing department at Volvo Group. As the Digitalization Strategy Lead for Virtual Testing and Simulation, you will play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to reduce reliance on physical tests by promoting virtual alternatives.
- Coordinate efforts across different teams to ensure a unified approach to testing and validation for the entire vehicle.
- Create and manage actions to generalize the adoption of virtual testing solutions, focusing on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and environmental sustainability.
- Lead technological and market watch efforts to identify new trends, tools, and practices that could enhance the company's simulation strategy.
The Digital Lab at Volvo Group is a team of experts dedicated to driving the digital transformation of the vehicle testing department. We provide tailored solutions in automation, data, AI, and simulation, addressing a wide range of strategic needs.
Requirements- Engineering degree with a specialization in virtual simulation and/or testing in the automotive industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in simulation tools and emerging technologies, including digital twins, AI, and modeling.
- Strong ability to develop strategies and roadmaps to integrate digital tools into complex environments.
- Expertise in cross-functional management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Awareness of sustainability goals and a commitment to reducing environmental impact in industrial processes.
- Innovative, business-oriented mindset with a talent for seeing opportunities where others might see risks.
- Fluency in English and French languages.
