The Recruitment Specialist will be a vital contributor to the OneMars Talent Acquisition services, offering comprehensive recruitment expertise across all facets of the hiring journey for experienced professionals in a dynamic and competitive environment. A primary focus will be on developing a pipeline of prospective candidates that align with the strategic needs of Mars and its core values, ensuring that all candidates experience a superior recruitment process. The Recruitment Specialist will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for Mars, being accountable for attracting and selecting high-caliber associates who will propel the business forward. This encompasses consulting with hiring managers to identify essential capabilities, crafting staffing strategies, sourcing and pre-screening candidates, and facilitating debrief sessions to guarantee the selection of top-tier candidates. Additionally, the Recruitment Specialist will engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing or establishing fundamental talent acquisition processes and tools.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years' experience in recruitment, either in a corporate or agency setting, or at least five years in an HR role externally.
- Proficient in the complete recruitment lifecycle within a complex and fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of the traits, skills, and qualities necessary for prospective candidates across various levels, with a proven record of successful placements.
- Ability to evaluate talent effectively, with a solid grasp of diverse interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
- Capability to support geographically dispersed hiring managers while consistently delivering professional customer service.
- Proficient in interpreting global processes, applying local operational policies, resolving issues, and escalating matters as needed.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to manage and safeguard confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in both French and English.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to devise staffing strategies informed by labor market trends and competitive analysis.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify core competencies and experiences essential for success in their respective roles, developing strategies to attract diverse candidates with the requisite skills to meet Mars' business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to final stages, including offer recommendations, negotiations, and onboarding.
- Act as a representative of Mars, ensuring adherence to standards of caliber, cultural fit, diversity, and candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize knowledge of best practices and the capabilities of both internal and external recruiters to manage the acquisition of diverse talent.
- Provide ongoing updates regarding the status of current open positions to the P&O team and functional hiring managers.
- Continuously cultivate an external talent pipeline; proactively source high-quality candidates and maintain relationships for future opportunities, while developing creative and alternative sources of talent and staying abreast of recruitment best practices.
