About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Development Manager to join our team at Coty. As a key member of our R&D Packaging team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative packaging solutions that meet the needs of our consumers and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Packaging Development Projects
    • Develop and implement packaging solutions that meet consumer needs and business objectives
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging solutions are aligned with marketing and product strategies
    • Manage packaging development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Drive Innovation and Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for packaging innovation and improvement
    • Develop and implement new packaging technologies and materials
    • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure packaging solutions meet quality and sustainability standards
  • Manage Packaging Development Team
    • Lead and manage a team of packaging development professionals
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
    • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement packaging development processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging development, preferably in the beauty industry
    • Proven track record of leading packaging development projects from concept to launch
  • Education
    • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as packaging, chemistry, or mechanical engineering
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials and technologies
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
