Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Amazon Logistics Operations Finance team in Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing finance-related activities, implementing standardized controllership, reporting, and planning processes for the fixed cost of Delivery Stations across all EU countries.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and mitigate basic control risks, evaluating their impact and implementing improvements to remediate gaps.
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial close, utilizing financial systems and advanced MSExcel functions to work with large data sets, producing plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
- Collaborate with various data sources, identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, its root causes, and escalating discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Communicate complex finance issues clearly, adjusting your style for different audiences, and articulating data in a concise and unambiguous manner.
- Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes, making thoughtful time management decisions independently.
- Drive your own self-development within the Finance Community, seeking opportunities to expand your finance expertise, participating in events, initiatives, and projects, and sharing gained knowledge within and outside your team.
- A strong background in finance, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, resolving issues, meeting deadlines, and seeking feedback from your manager.
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- A passion for innovation, with a desire to continuously learn and improve your skills.
