The Amadeus Hotel IT team is dedicated to crafting and delivering high-performance systems capable of handling vast numbers of requests each second while ensuring optimal accuracy and rapid response times. Our Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms are designed to support millions of users seeking information and reservations from a multitude of hotels, offering countless rooms worldwide. Leveraging our established expertise in developing and deploying mission-critical software for the global travel sector, we are pioneering the next generation of technological solutions for the hospitality industry, which includes: reservations and distribution, high-volume data collection from diverse sources, advanced search engines, payment processing, hotel operations, business intelligence, and revenue management.
The Amadeus Hotel Platform serves as the core of a hotel chain's operations. It acts as the central hub for pricing, configuration, and booking for every hotel within a chain. This system manages thousands of hotel configurations, millions of pricing rules, and hundreds of millions of hotel reservations simultaneously. Any creation or modification of this data necessitates synchronization with the broader hotel infrastructure.
Your Main Responsibilities
Key accountabilities include:
- Leading and assisting in the ACRS End-to-End (E2E) SAFE MIGRATION: PI/SRM - PO and SM, E2E PI Planning.
- Representing E2E in the ACRS Community program and spearheading E2E Community Testing initiatives.
- Possessing advanced technical knowledge to ensure the team operates at peak performance, recognized as a leader in the field, and may formally mentor Specialists/Senior Specialists.
- Understanding how primary business drivers can influence your area, assessing complex issues with broad implications, enhancing processes, recommending solutions, and developing risk mitigation strategies. Capable of conveying intricate information effectively.
- Working autonomously under management guidance, leading projects, or contributing to extensive cross-functional initiatives. May assist in resource and budget planning.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Ensuring compliance of testing strategies with CI/CD protocols, Green IT guidelines, and all quality standards (SDL, STDL), as well as industry best practices in QA.
- Defining and maintaining the testing strategy and owning the test plan for projects, products, or releases.
- Establishing a relationship framework among relevant decision-making levels for both Amadeus and customer organizations involved in testing.
- Supporting customers during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all testing-related matters.
- Overseeing the execution of brush tests.
- Analyzing all testing requirements for internal Business Units or cross-BU.
- Monitoring the outcomes of test campaigns conducted by QA Engineers.
- Providing necessary sign-offs for functional, non-functional, and non-regression validations throughout each phase of the lifecycle.
- Ensuring appropriate sign-off of releases.
- Tracking issues and initiating actions to guarantee product sustainability.
- Monitoring software quality KPIs across various testing phases.
- Delivering regular reports to stakeholders (QA Engineers, Product Definition Analysts, and Software Development Engineers) regarding quality evolution during testing phases.
- Collaborating with development teams, commercial entities, and cross-functional testing teams to prioritize requirements and streamline execution.
