Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at INRIA and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for exascale storage systems.
About the Project
The successful candidate will work on modeling and simulating heterogeneous storage systems to study their behavior, predict their performance, and propose innovative algorithmic approaches for better resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced resource allocation algorithms to overcome the limitations of existing methods
- Collaborate with international partners, especially with the University of Manoa (HI, USA), and national partners, such as the French SKA team
- Conduct research and development of innovative solutions for exascale storage systems
- Participate in the development of the StorAlloc simulator and its integration with the WRENCH framework
- Contribute to the publication of research results in top-tier conferences and journals
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Good communication skills in oral and written English
- Open-mindedness, strong integration skills, and team spirit
