The headquarters of AXA Group serves as the central hub for our corporate functions, offering guidance and support to our global subsidiaries. With a diverse workforce of approximately 1000 employees representing 45 nationalities, our headquarters is a vibrant and stimulating workplace.
You will become a part of the Group Financial Controlling Department (PBRC - Plan Budget Results Central), which consists of 180 professionals, including a Finance team of 50 members. This recruitment is specifically for the 'Accounting Management of Central Holdings' team, which comprises 7 individuals responsible for overseeing the financial statements of the parent company.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of this team, your responsibilities will include:
- Accounting Oversight: Ensure accurate accounting of AXA Holdings' financial transactions, validate monthly financial charges, and maintain communication with the Financial Team (DCFG).
- Financial Management: Oversee P&L movements related to AXA Holdings' activities, manage foreign currency impacts, and prepare bank reconciliations, particularly for multi-currency accounts.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that derivative hedging documentation aligns with the economic vision of DCFG and that accounting records reflect this documentation accurately.
- Process Improvement: Engage in the continuous enhancement of information control processes and simplify work methods through optimized tool usage.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bac +3/5 degree in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong foundations in accounting and tax principles.
- Proficiency in IT and general accounting techniques.
- Professional proficiency in English for communication with international contacts.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
