The Analytics Services Senior Consultant is a high-value, client-facing role responsible for managing a portfolio of airline clients and maintaining relationships with executives up to the C-Level. This role involves delivering comprehensive analytics services to airlines, including data analysis, modeling, and actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Derive and execute strategies to enhance airlines' e-commerce performance, emphasizing expertise in data visualization using tools like Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Gather, analyze, and model client data, KPIs, and/or market data (competitors, products, suppliers) using a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to develop quantitative and qualitative business insights and improve decision-making.
- Mine data from various sources to generate actionable insights, with the ability to correlate different data sets to support informed decision-making.
- Define and execute analyses and reports to support consulting missions, utilizing internal analytics data structures and reporting tools.
- Oversee the definition and maintenance of dashboards and reports of customer KPIs, enforcing best practices and standards.
- Support the digital services team in writing business cases and white papers, contributing to thought leadership.
- Benchmark airline industry and cross-industry digital innovations to provide cutting-edge insights.
- Develop and implement data visualization solutions using Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau to present data in an easily understandable and actionable format.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and analytics deliverables by implementing best practices for data management and quality control.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics, visualization, and big data technologies to continuously improve the services provided to clients.
- Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in data analysis, visualization, and consulting to build a strong, knowledgeable team.
- Familiarity with various database technologies, including SQL.
- Knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) is a plus.
- Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and modeling client data, KPIs, and/or market data to develop business insights.
- Ability to oversee the definition and maintenance of dashboards and reports of customer KPIs, enforcing best practices and standards.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies, Azure Databricks, and Databricks SQL. Knowledge of Snowflake Data Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Impala, is beneficial but not required.
- Hands-on experience writing code in Scala (preferred), PySpark, or Java is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Bash scripting and Python is a plus.
- Proven experience in data analysis, consulting, and/or data visualization.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
