The Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a reputable public accounting firm based in Saint-Sulpice-La-Pointe, seeking a highly skilled Lead Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to your accounting team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for complex accounting matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the firm.
  • Oversee the entire accounting process for a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering timely and insightful financial reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive balance sheets and tax returns, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their financial needs effectively.

This role requires occasional travel to various office locations to facilitate teamwork and knowledge sharing across departments.

Qualifications:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced accounting professional with:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent accounting consultant or chief accountant.
  • Proven expertise in accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
