About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch) - G48 team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our enterprise customers in the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and drivers, and providing monthly and quarterly metrics to assist with pre-launch planning.
  • Technical Support: Utilize technical skills to solve difficult support issues and technical challenges, and understand operational parameters and troubleshooting processes for customer issues and escalations.
  • Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development, and improve customer capabilities by running workshops, operations, and architecture reviews.
  • Operational Health: Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy, while reducing costs and driving efficiencies to mitigate risks in customer operations plans and product adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with customers across all levels, from developers to C-Suite executives, and collaborate with multiple functions within AWS, such as Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, Global TAM teams, and Sales Account Managers.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Account Manager with a strong background in the Financial Services industry. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for at least two of the following technical domains: Compute/Storage/Networking/CDN/Databases/DevOps/Big Data and Analytics/Security/Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Working with engineering/technology teams for large customers or a major segment of a large entity in the Public Sector, Enterprise, or Start-up industry.
  • Able to communicate effectively in French and English within technical and business settings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience (3+ years) in the Financial Services industry.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s).
  • Experience in influencing management stakeholders on technical, operational, or business strategic decisions.
  • Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.
