We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Expert to join our team at Subsea 7. As a key member of our Global Projects Centre, you will be responsible for the execution of Subsea 7's largest projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a package of structures within a project, ensuring planning, interfaces, and timely delivery.
- Take ownership of complex design activities, including production of deliverables, engineering support, and technical documentation.
- Provide specialist skills and knowledge in Subsea Structures & Piping Design engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements, and current good engineering practices.
- Represent the Company in meetings and correspondence with Clients, Subcontractors, and 3rd Parties.
- Engineer Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SURF business, Oil and Gas, Subsea equipment, or Offshore Renewables structural design related activities.
- Expertise in organizing and prioritizing workload, managing time, and change control.
- Strong knowledge and experience in steel construction structural design, Naval architecture, material strength, and permanent structures design.
- Good knowledge of industry standards and design codes, including AISC, API, ABS, BV, DNV, and Eurocodes.
- Competency in design and analysis software packages, such as Abaqus, ANSYS, SACS, and NSO/ISYMOST.
