Job Summary

The Department of Bouches-du-Rhône is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the management of infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Pilot infrastructure investment operations, including external project management
  • Conduct operations relevant to the department's road infrastructure, ensuring technical, administrative, and financial mastery
  • Lead project management, including internal project management, from conception to completion, ensuring respect for the project timeline and financial objectives
  • Perform other public service missions corresponding to the job's scope and domain

Activities

  • Assist the project owner in conducting pre-project studies and/or internal institutional communication
  • Manage project teams and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Coordinate the validation of external services
  • Animate project consultation and ensure collaboration between project designers and infrastructure maintenance personnel

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of project management rules
  • Expertise in general design for road infrastructure
  • Knowledge of public procurement and administrative procedures
  • Proficiency in CAO, DAO, and office software
  • Ability to lead a team and foster professional synergies
  • Effective communication skills, including non-technical communication
