Scope of the PositionThis role reports to the Albéa Tubes Data Strategy Manager and covers Europe, Asia, and the Americas. It is linked to an Albéa Tubes Strategic project on Data Governance.
Main Responsibilities- Support the definition and delivery of the yearly Data Roadmap on time and quality.
- Manage a team of project managers focused on large and cross-functional data projects.
- Work with project managers to identify and evaluate fundamental issues, interpret data, make business decisions, and ensure solutions are implemented.
- Identify clear deliverables and goals for projects that support the business, recommend areas for improvement, and optimize projects using knowledge of program management practices.
- Work with Business Process Owners and Business Data Owners to ensure alignment between processes, data projects, and data usage.
- Anticipate risks, arbitrate, and proactively escalate project issues to the Data Strategy Manager and BPOs, and prepare recommendations.
- Animate a monthly Data Projects review and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Directly manage some projects of the Data Roadmap.
- Share project quality, cost, and time performance objectives and guarantee projects are on-time, in full, at cost, on budget, and meet requirements in line with the project charter and business needs.
- Accountable for the definition and management of resources, motivation, and coaching of project team members.
Experience and Education:
- 7 to 10 years of experience managing a team of project managers in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging or fast-moving consumer goods industry.
- Master's degree or engineering profile.
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Strong negotiation and project management skills.
- Leadership skills to animate transversal projects and align different functions and perspectives.
- Experience in Data Management and Data Governance.
- Capacity to animate a large transversal team.
- Strong analytics skills and capacity to structure.
- Ability to liaise both internally and externally across functions and communicate.
- Fluent in both written and oral English.
