Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Technician in Green Space Maintenance. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the creation and upkeep of sports facilities and green areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops new sports facilities from the ground up, including natural grass, synthetic surfaces, athletic tracks, and sports complexes.
- Installs and applies various coatings or turf materials.
- Engages in VRD (Roads and Various Networks) activities, such as curb laying, drainage installation, and minor masonry work.
- Performs a range of manual labor tasks as required.
- Operates machinery (tractor, mini-digger, loader) if in possession of CACES R48 certification.
- Requires weekly travel for project assignments.
- Standard work schedule of 35 hours per week, with opportunities for additional paid hours.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, public works, or sports ground development is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of construction tools.
- Enjoys working outdoors and performing manual tasks.
- Open to beginners with a willingness to learn.
