About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Airframe Engineer to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our airframe stress engineering department, you will be responsible for managing the stress analysis of our helicopter fleet, ensuring the highest level of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the stress analysis of our helicopter fleet, including the definition of loads, analytical and numerical calculations, and follow-up of mechanical tests.

  • Work closely with project teams, airworthiness, design, material, and tests to ensure the successful delivery of our helicopters.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our helicopter's structural components, including primary and secondary structures, and major equipment.

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure the highest level of safety and performance in our helicopters.

Requirements

  • Educated to 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or related discipline.

  • At least five years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in static structural analysis, composite and metallic materials.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Advanced level of French and English language skills.
