Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Stress Airframe Contract Responsible to join our team in Marignane, France. As a key member of our airframe stress department, you will be responsible for managing stress activities for new Super Puma contracts, working closely with project teams, airworthiness, design, material, and tests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage stress activities for new Super Puma contracts, including workload, resources, and subcontractors.
  • Work with project teams, airworthiness, design, material, and tests to ensure compliance with airworthiness rules.
  • Conduct static and fatigue analysis, including non-linear analysis, metallic and composite, buckling, and links justification.
  • Follow-up of mechanical tests on ground and in flight to consolidate stress results.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the great Airbus Helicopters fleet, including the Super Puma. As a Stress Airframe Contract Responsible, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in stress analysis, working with a talented team of engineers.

Requirements:

  • Educated to 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in stress analysis.
  • Advanced level of French and English language skills.
