Job Summary

Altorecruit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales with existing customers and targeting new prospects for the plastics distribution business, specifically focusing on the Thermoplastics Products portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales in the territory to reach sales, gross profit, account number, penetration targets, and product goals.
  • Service existing accounts and coordinate division's sale and delivery of products to meet customer needs.
  • Identify leads for new accounts and work with Sales Management to develop sales strategy.
  • Monitor competitive situations and communicate them to CM and other relevant parties.
  • Fulfill responsible care sales activities safely, including personal and vehicular safety and product stewardship.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
  • Fluent French and English skills, with other languages valued.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Plastics Distribution Sales or related industry experience.
  • Well-versed in industrial commodity chemicals and capable of calling on all types and sizes of accounts.
  • Proven qualifications in self-motivation, enthusiasm, time management skills, and responsiveness.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience with SAP and/or a plus.
  • Ability to negotiate and build effective relationships.
