Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microbiology Risk Management Leader to join our team at Danone. As a key member of our Quality and Food Safety department, you will be responsible for driving our microbiological risk management strategy and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Microbiological Risk Management Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive microbiological risk management strategy that aligns with our company's quality and food safety policies and procedures.
Conduct Risk Assessments and AnalysisConduct regular risk assessments and analysis to identify potential microbiological hazards and develop mitigation strategies to prevent or minimize their impact.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional TeamsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Research and Development, and Supply Chain, to ensure that microbiological risk management is integrated into all aspects of our business.
Develop and Maintain Quality and Food Safety StandardsDevelop and maintain quality and food safety standards, including microbiological testing and monitoring protocols, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Provide Training and SupportProvide training and support to employees on microbiological risk management and quality and food safety procedures to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory RequirementsStay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to microbiological risk management and quality and food safety.
Requirements- PhD in Microbiology or Master's Degree in a Related Field
A PhD in Microbiology or a Master's degree in a related field, such as Food Science or Food Technology, is required.
20 Years of Experience in Food IndustryAt least 20 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in a quality and food safety role, is required.
Strong Background in Applied Food MicrobiologyA strong background in applied food microbiology, including bacterial physiology, pathogenic microorganisms, environmental and spoilage contaminants, is required.
Experience in Food Factory EnvironmentExperience working in a food factory environment, preferably in a quality and food safety role, is required.
Proven Problem-Solving SkillsProven problem-solving skills, including the ability to work on multiple and often unplanned tasks simultaneously, is required.
Strong Interpersonal SkillsStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and make quick decisions on sensitive topics, is required.
