About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Food Safety Risk Assessor to join our team at Danone. As a key member of our Quality and Food Safety Standards and Risk Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our food products.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct chemical and food safety risk assessments for our packaging materials and food contact substances. You will work closely with our internal stakeholders, including the Chemical Safety team and Danone QFS Standards and Risk Management team, to identify and mitigate potential risks.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for communicating complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders and driving cross-functional projects related to food safety risk assessment and management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct chemical and food safety risk assessments for packaging materials and food contact substances
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and quality of our food products
  • Communicate complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Drive cross-functional projects related to food safety risk assessment and management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks
Requirements
  • Master's degree in food safety science, toxicology, chemistry, biology, or a related field
  • Proven track record of experience in an industrial context, with a focus on food safety and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in other languages a plus
