We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to join our team at Victaulic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the mechanical construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including mechanical contractors, engineers, and building owners
- Provide product training and support to customers to ensure they are equipped to specify and install Victaulic products
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product management and marketing, to stay up-to-date on product offerings and market trends
- Manage a territory of customers, including identifying new business opportunities and developing sales plans to pursue them
- Proven sales experience in the mechanical construction industry, preferably with a focus on value-added products and services
- Strong understanding of the mechanical construction industry, including market trends and competitor activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight trips
