We are seeking an experienced QC Project Manager to lead a critical Quality Control (QC) Stream for a major biotechnology project in Toulouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the qualification and validation of cutting-edge laboratory and analytical equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, BPF, FDA).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the qualification and validation of laboratory and analytical equipment, including mass spectrophotometers, electron microscopes, centrifuges, and endotoxin analyzers.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project.
- Coordinate and lead project committee meetings, tracking progress and deliverables to meet contractual commitments.
- Manage risks, issues, and scope changes, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Oversee and mentor a team of consultants involved in the QC stream.
- Collaborate with the client's QC and QA departments, ensuring timely and compliant project delivery.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of additional project resources as needed.
- 8-15 years of experience in project management within the life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with laboratory equipment qualification and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Strong understanding of GMP, BPF, and FDA compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective client relationships.
- Fluency in English is essential; French is a big plus.
