Amadeus is on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned Cloud Architect to become a vital part of our expanding Hospitality Enterprise Architecture division. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and overseeing secure and scalable cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure. Your expertise will be essential in developing resilient architectures that align with performance, cost, and security standards, thereby supporting our digital transformation initiatives.
Your Main Responsibilities
Common Accountabilities:
Design and execute secure and scalable cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure. Convert business requirements into technically sound and economically viable Azure architectures. Choose and configure suitable Azure services based on specific needs. Automate infrastructure deployments and manage DevOps workflows. Enhance cloud infrastructure for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Implement robust security practices and ensure adherence to industry regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security experts. Keep abreast of the latest developments in cloud technologies and Azure services.Specific Accountabilities:
Over 7 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a comparable role. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure or equivalent, covering compute, storage, networking, and security services. Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. Proven capability to design, implement, and articulate highly available and scalable solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Strong grasp of cloud security principles and best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively. Passion for ongoing learning and staying updated with the latest cloud technologies.Education:
Degree in computer science and/or over 7 years of relevant professional experience. Azure architect-level certifications are advantageous.Bonus Points:
