Financial Analyst, Amazon Logistics

Amazon France Transport SAS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to support our fast-growing logistics activity in Europe. As a key member of our European Operations Finance team, you will work closely with operations leaders, technology teams, and international finance teams to drive business performance and optimize costs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for decision support, controllership, and finance for our largest cost area. You will analyze data, create financial models, and provide expert advice to senior leadership to inform business decisions. Your ability to think analytically and strategically will be essential in driving business growth and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with the DSP Manager and DSP team to improve business performance and optimize costs
- Collaborate with operational teams to influence financial and operational productivity and mitigate risks
- Responsible for financial controlling and planning of last miles cost
- Monitor last miles cost and provide variance analyses
- Support the decision-making process with expertise and analysis
- Demonstrable relevant finance/accounting experience
- Ability to think both analytically and strategically
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Experience in logistics would be helpful. Experience in working in a fast-paced growth environment is essential
- Advanced Excel user
- Exceptional communication skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase, and/or Cognos) and other financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
