Global Sales and Marketing Director for Transit Services

As a Global Sales and Marketing Director for Transit Services, you will play a critical role in driving the company's commercial strategy for the Transit Services Group. Our team supports customers in optimizing the life cycle cost of their assets by providing services for their equipment. We consolidate all business related to spare parts, repairs & overhauls, and maintenance as part of a comprehensive portfolio of service activities on existing rolling stock and rail infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining and leading the implementation of the marketing plan for the Transit Services Group
  • Driving market intelligence (customer needs, competition watch, market trends) to inform commercial strategy
  • Defining the product/services go-to-market in alignment with services global commercial strategy, regions, and product management
  • Ensuring promotion and communication of the product and services portfolio that satisfies the commercial strategy
  • Achieving Transit Services Group Order Intake
  • Leading innovation processes
  • Leading customer watch processes and customer profiles/mapping updates
  • Driving Transit Services Group Sales process improvement and CRM implementation
  • Animating Services sales communities in regions, ensuring best practices sharing and common processes
  • Defining customer experience (tools, processes) according to customer segmentation
  • Providing inputs to Product Management and R&D in respect of market expectations
  • Owning the Product Line Sales & Marketing budget (including central and local budgets)
  • Monitoring market opportunities and tender pipeline, engaging with and supporting regions to maximize orders

Requirements:

  • Degree from an accredited university or college, with specialization in Engineering or Business Administration an advantage
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management/marketing in Rail industry, specifically in maintenance and/or Transit operations activities
  • Ability to work in a global and matrix environment
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking mindset
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • CRM - Sales Force knowledge an advantage
  • Full fluency in English required, an additional European language (notably French, Italian, German, Spanish) a plus

Location:

Europe, with easy access/vicinity to any of our sites in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom. Legal authorization to work in EU is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
