About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Fire Safety and Security Officer (SSIAP 1) to join our security team at the Annecy site. This is an initial temporary position with the potential for conversion to a permanent contract.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular monitoring and inspections of all fire safety equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and maintain fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency plans, guaranteeing their readiness in case of emergencies.
  • Proactively identify any required repairs or maintenance for fire safety systems and promptly notify superiors to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain clear and unobstructed evacuation paths, ensuring accessibility and permanence for all personnel during emergencies.
  • Warmly welcome and guide service providers and inspectors, facilitating their access and providing necessary information.
  • Enforce strict adherence to fire safety regulations throughout the facility, promoting a culture of safety awareness among staff and visitors.
  • Meticulously record all relevant information in event logs, documenting incidents, inspections, and maintenance activities for future reference.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to fire alarms or emergencies, implementing established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of all individuals.
  • Conduct regular security patrols within the facility, deterring potential threats and maintaining a secure environment.
  • Assist in patient containment and search for missing individuals, utilizing your knowledge of the facility layout and security procedures.
  • Activate alarms or alert external emergency services as required, coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure a prompt and effective response.
  • Direct and assist external emergency teams upon arrival, providing necessary information and facilitating their access to affected areas.
  • Manage public parking facilities, ensuring efficient traffic flow and maintaining order within designated areas.

About You

You possess the SSIAP 1 certification and are knowledgeable in H0B0, PSC1 or SST. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential, along with a valid driver's license.
