Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technician III to join our MCU32 division at Microchip Technology, Inc. as a key member of our Silicon evaluation Lab team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the validation and characterization of 32-bit microcontrollers during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the validation and characterization of 32-bit microcontrollers, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
- Collaborate with Validation engineers to manage day-to-day activities of the Lab, including inventory management, equipment tracking, and shipment of Silicon to other validation sites.
- Support the team with data collection activities, setup, and maintenance of automated measurements benches, and sweep parts to check measurement results integrity.
- Manage and maintain Validation lab and equipment, including allocation and tracking of non-bonded equipment for users.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks, such as supporting new joiners, rework, and contributing to board design activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITI/B.E/B.Tech with 3-4 years' experience in electronics and microcontrollers.
- Proficient in using Lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, power supplies, DVM, temperature conditioners, and soldering components on PCB.
- Basic knowledge of circuits and networks, with experience in measuring and debugging issues on boards.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot analog and digital electronic circuits.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, with a willingness to learn new things and ask questions.
- Flexibility to work in night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
