Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UX Designer to join our team at KPIT. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for driving the design activity for key projects and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of user experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions and ensure that our products meet the needs of our users.
- Lead key projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our design processes and products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure that our products meet the needs of our users and the business.
- Demonstrate expertise in design, particularly in information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Be an advocate for our users and help to articulate their needs to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of our design team by participating in hiring and mentoring.
Requirements
- 5-9 years of experience in UX-related areas, including user research and interaction design.
- Critical thinking and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Expert-level knowledge of user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Knowledge of design thinking and practical applications.
- Knowledge of planning and executing user research, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Excellent communication, articulation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and think outside the box to arrive at solutions.
- Exceptional portfolio of design work.
- Expert-level experience with Figma, and knowledge of Sketch, Miro, Figjam, and other relevant tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of design systems, including building and maintaining one.
- Hands-on experience with planning and conducting user research and usability testing activities.
- Basic knowledge of visual design and branding.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Experience with Invision, Usability Testing, SurveyMonkey, and ClickTale.
