About the Role

At Worldline, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of data protection and privacy compliance across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee data protection and privacy compliance across our organization, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data protection policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to employees on data protection and privacy matters, ensuring a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including data protection authorities and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and regulatory developments, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership on data protection and privacy matters.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the effective implementation of data protection and privacy controls.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track data protection and privacy metrics, providing insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
  • Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Working experience for multinational organizations, with a strong understanding of global data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Excellent command of English.
