The company prides itself on fostering a results-driven environment and maintaining high standards of excellence in its operations.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for direct spend categories, aligned with business goals.Identify, evaluate, and manage contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality, cost and delivery performance.Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulations.Conduct cost benchmarking and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities.Monitor commodity trends and regional market dynamics to inform sourcing decisions.Drive cost reduction initiatives through competitive bidding, supplier consolidation, and value engineering.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with product development and operational needs.Lead supplier performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.The Successful ApplicantA successful Category Manager should have:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field preferred.3-5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, ideally in the apparel, garment or textile industry.Experience managing contract manufacturers and suppliers in China, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines and etc.Proven experience managing suppliers across Asia, Africa and Middle East.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) is a plus.Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in cost modelling.Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.Ability to manage complexity across diverse supplier markets and cultural contexts.What's on OfferPermanent position with opportunities for cross-regional collaboration and strategic impact.Positive work environment and supports work-life balance.If this role aligns with your skills and aspirations, we encourage you to apply today
