It is consistently ranked by all of the usual legal commentators for its prowess in various forms of corporate finance furthermore.This law firm has had an office in Paris for a little over five years, making a solid imprint in funds, private equity, and corporate matters as governed by French law, and including many cross-border and international deals throughout Europe. It works very closely with its sister-offices in Europe, particularly in London where it provides significant assistance to the firm's operations there.The Opportunity:The firm is as busy as ever, taking on more and more instructions from its clients weekly and therefore is looking to appoint a new associate to its team in Paris. The work the team does in this regard pertains to debt finance, and the level of work on offer is second to none offered by any rival law firm. Indeed this firm is rated very highly by Chambers and Legal 500 for its solid strength in debt finance matters.The Candidate:You will be between 1-3 years qualified under a the Paris bar association, with solid experience gained from a notable law firm that practices in the debt financing arena. As part of your experience so far you will be familiar with Borrower side debt finance arrangements, with a clear understanding of the use and application of debt finance instruments, particularly in relation to the overlap with the private equity World, for which this firm is also very well known to serve.You will have a keen eye for detail and excellent drafting and analytical skills. Most importantly you will have the energy and enthusiasm to thrive in what is generally a fast-paced environment.
