My client is currently looking to hire a debt restructuring partner to make a significant impact within its debt finance team.The Firm: A US law firm, my client now boasts offices across multiple locations internationally together with a clientele base that spans the globe. It is consistently ranked by all of the usual legal commentators for its prowess in certain legal fields including M&A, Finance and Private Equity.This law firm has had an office in Paris for a little over five years, making a solid imprint in a range of matters as governed by French law, and including many cross-border and international deals throughout Europe. It works very closely with its sister-offices in Europe, particularly in London where it provides significant assistance to the firm's operations there.The Opportunity: The firm is as busy as ever, taking on more and more instructions from its clients weekly and therefore is looking to appoint a partner to its debt finance team in Paris. The work the team does in this regard pertains to debt restructuring work and will involve the successful candidate working with some of the most respected business names in the World, including multinationals, financial institutions and private equity firms.The Candidate: You will be a French qualified lawyer, either already a partner or looking to make that leap from Counsel. You will have excellent experience of leading and managing complex debt restructurings, and advising on issues of insolvency and other related matters.In addition to servicing the firm's current clients, you will bring a significant clientele base of your own, maintaining relationships with key business players and driving ongoing business development. Being an established debt restructuring lawyer you will provide mentorship to more junior lawyers, supporting their continued growth in line with the firm's goals and spirit of collegiality.In exchange, the successful candidate will receive an excellent remuneration package, access to the best work in the industry, and the opportunity to help steer the firm's Paris debt finance team in its continuous positive direction.To be considered for this opportunity, do please get in touch.
