Group International Mobility Coordinator 1

Within the international mobility team of 4, the International Mobility Coordinator manages the assignees’ HR life cycle from an end-to-end perspective, contributes to Faurecia worldwide footprint development and ensures the management of international assignment processes in accordance with the Group policy. The jobholder will support international mobility processes and coordination between home & host countries HRs, BGs (Business Groups) and with the assignee.
Current managed population is ca 200,including Long-Term, Short-Term, Local+ assignees and commuters
**Responsibilities**:
- Business partnership: Portfolio of activities will primarily be country-driven (countries of assignment), the jobholder will be the go-to person for such countries of assignment for BG and country HR representatives
- Ensure the appropriate assignment setup factoring both (i) the combination between home and host country and (ii) the 4 dimensions inherent to International mobility: applicable Labour law / Social security / Immigration / Tax rules
- Ensure kick off for all formalities between home HR and Host HR (immigration, relocation,) prior to departure
- Enrol expatriates on the medical program, pension schemes / pension consultation and tax assistance meetings
- Follow up and invoicing of IM providers (tax and medical coverage essentially)
- C&B processes follow up: packages reviews upon Salary review decision, Faurecia Variable Compensation for the Home-Based assignees (tax equalized)
- Provide advice on immigration, social and tax topics to the International Mobility correspondents
- Follow up on a regular basis of the expatriates’ situation while assigned, anticipate new needs and ends of assignment with BGs
- Can participate to projects linked to the kick-off of operations in a new country should this need occur
- Actively contributes with the International Mobility Manager to the animation of the International Mobility network, which is made up of C&B BG representatives and country HRs, fosters exchanges and benchmark, makes suggestions for policy and process improvements
- Master's degree with a specialisation in HR Management or labour law
- Knowledge of employment laws (French and other countries), C&B processes
- Finance and business acumen
- Perseverance and conviction skills, enabler
- Comfortable with numbers and Excel and office tools
- Comfortable with new and unforeseen situations
- Problem solver
- International mindset, oral and written communications skills
- Minimum bi-lingual (English is a must have)
- Minimum 2/3 years-experience in HR
