Main Responsibilities : The International Mobility Manager is responsible for managing a team of six International Mobility Specialists, ensuring their development, which includes setting objectives and evaluating them at the end of the year, monitoring training plans, managing the team's schedule, handling recruitment and potential mobility, and conducting salary reviews. Together with their team, the International Mobility Manager is responsible for the following tasks : Management of Expatriations and International Transfers Coordinate the entire expatriation process : preparation of the package, documentation, follow-up on administrative procedures, visas, work permits, vaccinations, and medical requirements, etc. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding immigration, taxation, social security, and labor law. Supervise logistics related to relocation : housing, transportation, insurance, and administrative support. Ensure the integration of inbound expatriates in France. Manage returns to the home country, transitions to local contracts, and early returns. Advisory and Support for Managers Advise HR Managers and Operations Managers on various international mobility issues (cost simulations, packages, immigration, taxation, social protection, package calculations). Act as the technical expert and reference point for the International Mobility team. Advisory and Support for Employees Inform expatriate employees about all aspects related to their mobility : taxation, security, health, and cultural integration. Relations with External Partners Coordinate external service providers in tax and social law, immigration, and relocation. Negotiate and monitor contracts with these partners to ensure quality service. Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance Stay informed about legislative developments in the countries where the company operates. Adapt internal processes accordingly to ensure compliance. Skills and Profile Required : Education (one of the following) : Generalist Master’s degree in Administration or Management (Bac +5). Specialized Master’s degree in International HR or Law (social, tax, business, international). Business school degree complemented by an HR Master’s degree. IEP (Institute of Political Studies) complemented by an HR Master’s degree. Specialized Master’s degree in HR Management and International Mobility. Specialized curriculum : Magellan Institute. Experience : Minimum of 10 years in international mobility management, ideally in the Energy / EPC, industrial, or construction sectors. Technical Knowledge : Regulations in immigration, international taxation, and social security. Relocation processes, visa management, and work permits. HR management tools and specialized software (PeopleSoft). Skills : Excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent command of French and English; proficiency in other languages (Italian, Spanish, Arabic) is an asset. Personal Qualities : Rigor, autonomy, and a sense of confidentiality. Flexibility and strong adaptability. Team spirit and ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Customer service orientation : being attentive to employees, managers, HR managers, and local payroll managers to meet their expectations. Analytical skills : ability to understand complex situations, identify key issues, and prioritize. Strong interpersonal skills and diplomacy : ability to build and maintain networks, maintain relationships with remote employees and local HR managers, and communicate tactfully about compensation. Negotiation and patience : ability to guide and justify packages and benefits when an employee requests a benefit not included in the policy or questions its validity.
