Partner Carbon Assessment Specialist

Soil Capital is on a mission to regenerate over 10 million hectares of land by 2030, addressing our environmental and food security challenges through regenerative and low-carbon agriculture. As a leading expert in this field, we have developed the first payment for ecosystem services program for farmers in Europe.

Through our certified programme and our platform, Soil Capital leads the food and ag sector transformation by engaging with blue chip organisations who seek to deliver on their environmental commitments and build supply chain resilience. These business purchase regenerative units, acting as an incentive for farmers to measure and earning improve their agricultural practices.

Our technology supports farmers by allowing them to efficiently and accurately measure farming practices, as well as the GHG balance of their farm which we then audit and certify to generate certificates. This helps farmers understand the levers to accelerate their adoption of regenerative practices.

In the past ten years, Soil Capital has established as a thought leader and a driver of change at scale in France, the U.K. and Belgium. Pursuing its ambitious growth trajectory, it is now expanding geographical and product scopes.

**Your Role**

In this context, you will help us to increase the agronomic and economic potential of farms to achieve healthy food, living soil, clean air and abundant biodiversity. You will **supervise Soil Capital's various partner cooperatives**, **ensuring that the data collection**and processing**required to produce a personalized carbon diagnosis using our decision-support platform runs smoothly.

**Key Responsibilities**

More specifically, the partners supervised by the project manager will have the following responsibil ities:

- Correct and accurate encoding of the farmer's data (providing support to the farmer and conducting virtual interviews with the farmer to finalise data collection).
- Review of the encoded data, generation and revision of the mySoilCapital diagnostic.
- Delivery of the mySoilCapital report to the farmer, accompanied by a discussion with the farmer on the potential levers that can be put in place to improve practices.
- Compliance with the audit timetable and constraints in terms of providing carbon results and their quality.
- Participating in the development of the mySoilCapital tool by gathering feedback from farmers and communicating it internally.

**What about you?**:

- At least **3**years experience**in a similar position
- An excellent understanding of the french and belgian agricultural sector ( especially the agricultural cooperatives system ) and a willingness to learn more about it.
- Proven ability to model complex systems, with an eye for detail.
- Positive personality, with the ability to interact easily with others (friendliness in interactions).
- Critical, problem-solving, results-oriented, perfectionist.
- Excellent communication skills in French (mother tongue) and English (fluent).
- Highly motivated and curious about the environmental and social impact of Soil Capital's core mission.
