As our Technical Accounting Manager, you will oversee Sorare's accounting risk assessment and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex accounting considerations such as revenue recognition, tax, M&A, reporting etc. You will have significant responsibility for external reporting, assessing complex technical accounting matters and setting accounting policies and processes. You will report to the Global Controller. **Responsibilities**: - Assist in the Company's technical accounting, policies and specialized accounting functions, ensuring the highest degree of quality in the Company's financial statements - Assist with relevant corporate tax areas - Develop and maintain company-wide accounting policies - Research and draft technical memorandums on significant proposed and/or completed transactions and complex issues impacting the company - Monitor the development and applicability of emerging accounting and reporting rules - Research and document response for technical accounting issues - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure proper financial statement presentation of complex accounting areas and significant transactions - Lead the technical accounting research for significant transactions, such as share-based compensation, capitalized software development costs among others **Requirements**: - 7+ years experience in Accounting or Finance - CPA or equivalent required - Excellent written and oral communication skills, specifically technical memo writing - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS - Ability to work collaboratively within the organization and with senior management - Demonstrated ability to untangle complex issues and problem solve - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Blockchain/crypto knowledge and experience a plus **Benefits**: - Stock Options - We want all our employees to contribute to the success of Sorare and we will award stock options so you can share in our success as we grow - Health Care - Great medical, dental and vision insurance options - Wellness Benefit - Sorare contributes to employees wellness (e.g. gym membership, classes, etc.) - Pre-Tax Commuter Benefit - Sorare covers $130 in commuter costs - Latest Tech - We cover equipment such as monitors, computer, and headphones - Lunch - Sorare will contribute to their employees lunch expenses - Unlimited Paid Time Off in addition to observed company holidays Sorare is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
