Nemours

Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for the quality of accounting, reporting and tax data within the Business Services of Nemours, which provides services for the various French entities in compliance with legal provisions and the Sibelco group's internal procedures, while respecting deadlines. You will be the primary contact for the Business Service Manager regarding all accounting issues France and work very closely with the controller, HR business partner and teamleader A/P and Procurement.

**Responsibilities**:
Analysis and reporting- Drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting- Ensure database are timely updated and integrity checks are performed- Analyse, interpret data and make comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials

CAPEX- Following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and ensure & reconcile BS and PL- Ensure fixed assets register are maintained in double GAAP

Reporting- Direct and coordinate the preparation of financial IFRS reporting according to Sibelco Group reporting in Tagetik and statutory requirements- Summarize financial status by collecting information; prepare balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements- Ensure the monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting are prepared correctly- Ensure and coordinate the ICO reconciliations

Audit- Provide & coordinate information to auditors- Manage and coordinate the annual external audit process

Tax reporting- Manage tax reporting- Ensure and monitor all the tax compilation and reporting are done on time and are in compliance with French tax- Manager tax inspections with support of the Group

Treasury- Ensure all payments relative to all taxes are done on time

Accounting- Verify accounting records to assess accuracy and compliance- Ensure all entries are recorded as asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing account information- Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies- Maintain IFRS & FR GAAP- Justify the difference between the 2 GAAPS

About you:
- BAC +5 in Accounting and Finance / DSG /DEC-
- +10/15 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting-
- Audit experience required-
- SAP S/4HANA experience-
- Experience of managing team of min 2-3 people-
- Having basic notion and capabilities to learn and quickly built experience in the other expertise area-
- English and local language of the country of base and main operations - proficient verbal & writing-
