Role Purpose:
Within the Business Service Team, this role is responsible for the Finance, HR and Purchasing matters belonging to the Country Servicing Business Team of Nemours’s cluster.
Responsiblities:
1) Account Payable Management:
- Management of the Team in charge of the full process to record purchase invoices (goods, services, and Capex) of the different clusters of France- Manage the mismatch between PO and invoices by sending reporting to the different clusters and ensure the resolution- In charge of all Trade Payables GL Accounts including reconciliation and maintenance.- Month End activities such as booking “journals” and doing “reconciliations”
2) Transactional Procurement:
- Generation of the Request Purchase orders for goods and services required by the business in Nemours’s cluster.- Negotiation of the supplier contracts for small value purchases and execute accordingly, assuring all is done in compliance with Sibelco procurement policies and procedures- Resolution of the PO mismatches- Handling of the master data change requests and act as a single point of contact for contract changes
3) Coordination of the processing and generation of the payroll:
- 3a) Payroll Calculation:
- Ensure time & attendance and leave & absence tracking in the cluster is reflecting correctly on the payroll calculation- Onboarding of new employees by collecting all necessary documents to establish the payroll and follow up the medical check up- Ensures the computing, withholding and calculation of deductions associated with net pay is done properly, including federal and state withholding and unemployment insurances, as well as direct deposit information.- 3b) Reporting & Communication:
- Responsible for entering and maintaining all payroll journal entries to the general ledger and reconciliation of the payroll bank account.- Creates analytical reports for corporate, sub-regional and cluster management- Communicates with employees with regards to individual salary and deduction considerations- 3c) HRIS:
- Ensure proper use of country payroll system in view of integration and/or consolidation of payroll data at group level
- 4) Continuous improvement:
- Recommends ways to improve support for the business in the cluster by changing policies, processes, standards and practice and liaise with sub-regional and global functional experts in this respect-
- Act as a change champion on global and sub-regional policy and procedures deployment5) People Management:
- Manage, coordinate, coach and develop the team; foster well trained and motivated staff- Ensure the development of organizational capability in the team
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or HR management, or other relevant field (master degree preferred)- + 5 years of experience as a Team Leader of Accounts payable, purchasing, manager/generalist role or 3 years in a business services role in another international organisation- Having basic notion and capabilities to learn and quickly built experience in the other expertise area- English and French
